Saving Energy
Even more efficient than our standard Heat-Gate windows, the Thermal-Gate insulated glass option includes three panes of glass and with Krypton gas fill. Krypton gas fill is a more dense and better insulator which provides improved thermal performance and lower U-values. |

Safety
The interior two panes of 3 mm double strength glass are interleaved by a TROSIFOL® thermal barrier bond. If either of the interior panes of glass is broken, the glass remains bonded to the TROSIFOL® thereby reducing the fragments’ capacity to cause injury. Plus, there is no sharp glass mess to clean up inside your home. |

Security
Thermal-Gate’s TROSIFOL® interleave thermal barrier bond may prevent forced entry through a window. Even when struck by 100 pounds dropped from four feet - the glass system will not be penetrated*. The exterior glass is designed to break, but the interior two layers of glass, even if shattered, will be supported by the TROSIFOL® interleave and remain bonded. Meanwhile, the broken exterior shards of double-strength glass act as a deterrent to entry as the interior maintains a barrier. |

Storm Protection
Thermal-Gate windows will protect your home from storm damage if struck by falling tree limbs or wind carried debris. Using the same principals that provide exceptional security, if the exterior double strength glass breaks by impact, the interior panes maintain a barrier keeping rain, wind, sleet, snow and all other elements outside your home. Low-E Glass coatings help protect your home’s interior, furniture, rugs and paint from the sun’s UV rays. The TROSIFOL® interleave further reduces the UV light transmssion. As a system, the Thermal-Gate glass option is like sunscreen for your home’s interior blocking virtually all UV rays. |
