Through December 31, 2011, when you replace your windows and doors with American Jewel windows and doors you may be eligible to claim a Federal tax credit of up to 10% of the purchase, up to $200 for windows and up to $500 for exterior doors*.

		Purchase select Energy Star certified American Jewel windows and doors before December 31, 2011. This includes our HEAT-Gate® product lines, other products qualify see our page on qualified products for details.
		Not all ENERGY STAR™ Windows and Doors qualify. Products must meet a U-value maximum of 0.30 and Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) of 0.30.

		Save your purchase receipt dated prior to December 31, 2011 & the NFRC label from each window and door. The NFRC label shows that the window or door you purchased is energy efficient and eligible for a tax credit.
		Claim the tax credit for the year in which the window or door purchase is made. Consult with a qualified tax advisor to confirm your eligibility*. Retain your window dealer or contractor sales receipt, manufacturer's certification statement pertaining to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 and each of your NFRC labels from each window with your tax records.

Tax credit applies to the product only & does not include installation or labor costs. Be sure to ask for a sales receipt that shows the cost of the product.

*You may not qualify for the tax credit if you have previously claimed any energy tax credit from 2006-2010 tax years. Please consult your tax advisor and your previously claimed credits.
